NO PRESSURE · PLAIN ANSWERS

Is there a stretch app without streaks or scores?

Yes. Pause has no streaks to protect, no scores, no leaderboards and no “you missed a day” messages. Skipping a movement or ending a break early is treated as a normal choice, and the app never uses failure language.

Why Pause left streaks out

Streaks work for some people and quietly punish everyone else. In stretching app reviews the complaint reads “I lost my streak and I just stopped opening it.” A movement break is meant to lower the pressure of the working day, so Pause measures nothing and celebrates nothing.

What Pause shows instead

A large button to start a break, the next reminder time if you chose reminders, and the library. When a break ends you see a quiet finish and a way back to work. There is no feed and no dashboard.

What Pause does not track

Pause has no employer dashboard, no activity sharing and no social features. Local stored state reflects what you did in the app, not proof that you moved, and nothing is sent to your workplace.

Common questions

Does Pause count my breaks?

Pause remembers whether you finished your free break and can save an interrupted session so you can resume it. It does not keep a score.

Are there reminders that nag?

Reminders are optional, silent by default and limited to the working days and hours you choose. Turning them off cancels every pending reminder.
