Pause offers stretches, gentle movement and breathing breaks for the workplace. Your first completed break is free, without an account. Afterward, Pause Plus provides continued access to the included library and reminders with a subscription and a Pause account.
In Pause, open Settings, turn on Remind me, choose your working days and hours, and tap Done. Permission is requested only when you enable reminders. Notifications are optional and silent; your iPhone’s Focus and notification settings always apply.
Bundled instructions, timers and local settings work offline. The first free break works offline; subscribers can use cached subscription access. Account actions, purchases, restoration and refreshing subscription status require a connection.
An active walking timer continues while your phone is locked. Return whenever you are ready; a following stretch waits for you. If notifications are allowed, Pause can send a silent walking-completion reminder. Other movement and breathing timers pause when the app leaves the foreground. Interrupted sessions can be resumed for up to 12 hours.
Open Settings → Account → Delete my account and confirm using your original sign-in method. This removes the active Pause account and clears this device’s Pause settings and reminders. An internet connection is required. If interrupted, reopen Pause to allow the pending deletion to retry. Removing the app alone does not delete your account.
Open Settings → Privacy & data → Delete local data. This clears local preferences, review-prompt history and the saved session, and cancels reminders. It keeps your account, Apple subscription and free-break eligibility. Notification permission is managed separately in iPhone Settings.
Use Manage or cancel subscription in Pause’s Settings, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Account deletion and app removal do not cancel billing. To restore access, sign in to your Pause account and choose Restore Purchases. Apple handles billing and refund requests.
US pricing: $4.99 per month, or $12.99 every three months. The three-month plan saves $1.98—13% compared with three monthly payments totaling $14.97. Both plans include the same access.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Payment is charged through your Apple Account. The complete local price and billing period appear in the app before purchase; prices and savings may differ by storefront. The free introductory break does not start a subscription.
